Alessandro Tenaglia

Alessandro Tenaglia is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of dotX Automation. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Control Engineering, and his research is focused on navigation algorithms for unmanned systems.

Alessandro Tenaglia was born in Rome, Italy, in 1997. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's Degree in Automation Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, both summa cum laude, in 2019 and 2021, respectively. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Control, and Geoinformation from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2025, graduating cum laude.
His research experience was further enhanced by a one-year tenure at the Swiss Plasma Center, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), in Lausanne, Switzerland.
His research interests include autonomous navigation algorithms for unmanned systems and magnetic control of tokamak plasmas.
In 2024, he co-founded and became the Chief Operating Officer of dotX Automation, a startup specializing in autonomous robotics.
