Simone Mattogno was born in Palestrina, Italy. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's Degree in Automation Engineering from the Tor Vergata University of Rome, where he also completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Control, and Geoinformation, with a research background focused on localization systems for autonomous robots.
He is the CEO and co-founder of dotX Automation, an innovative startup that designs and develops advanced autonomous robotic platforms. Since the foundation of the company, he has progressively shifted from hands-on technical work to strategic leadership, focusing on product vision, business development, and team coordination. He leads multidisciplinary teams working on the design, implementation, and deployment of robotic systems for ground, aerial, and marine applications.
Simone combines a solid technical background with strong organizational and entrepreneurial skills, with a mission to deliver scalable and reliable robotic solutions tailored to real-world operational needs.
